We love Austria because it’s got layers—imperial palaces and schnitzel-fueled ski towns, cliff-hanging villages that belong in fairytales, and coffee houses where philosophers argued over pastries. This is the homeland of Mozart and Falco, Freud and Red Bull, where you can spend the morning pondering existentialism and the afternoon yodeling from an Alpine peak. It’s dramatic, it’s a little extra, and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way.
